When will my first Etsy payout arrive in Payoneer as a new seller?

I’m a new Etsy seller and I just made my first sale. My shop is set up to receive payouts through Payoneer, but I’m not sure how long it usually takes for the money to show up.

How do Etsy payouts to Payoneer work for a first sale, and what should I check if the funds don’t appear after my payout date?

Hi! With Payoneer, your first Etsy sale doesn’t usually pay out “right away” — the money first lands in your Etsy Payment account, then Etsy sends your available funds to your Payoneer Payment Account on the weekly schedule (typically Mondays for Payoneer). After Etsy marks the deposit as sent, it can still take a little time to actually show up in Payoneer, and if you then withdraw from Payoneer to your bank, that withdrawal can take a few more business days.

If the funds don’t show up after your payout date, here’s what to check (in this order):

  1. Was the money actually “Available for deposit” on Etsy yet?
In Shop Manager → Finances → Payment account, look at your current balance and any “not available yet” amounts. Your first sale can be delayed if:
  • The payment is still processing/pending (especially with certain payment methods), or
  • Etsy placed a payment account reserve on your shop (common for newer sellers and can hold a portion of funds until shipping/tracking or a set time).
  1. Did Etsy show the deposit as “sent”?
In the Payment account, deposits show as a line item. If it’s not listed as sent yet, then it hasn’t left Etsy—so it won’t be in Payoneer.

  2. Did you recently add or change payout/bank details?
Any time you update payout details, Etsy can place a temporary hold (often several days) before funds are eligible to be deposited again. Even small edits can trigger this.

  3. Check Payoneer for the incoming transfer (and don’t confuse it with your bank withdrawal).
Make sure you’re checking your Payoneer Payment Account balance/transactions (money arriving from Etsy) versus the separate step of withdrawing from Payoneer to your bank (which can take additional business days).

  4. If Etsy says “sent” but Payoneer still doesn’t show it after a few business days
At that point, it’s usually a processing/receiving-side delay. Reconfirm your Payoneer account is active/verified and able to receive USD payouts, then contact support (starting with Payoneer if Etsy shows the deposit sent; starting with Etsy if it doesn’t).

If you tell me the exact date Etsy shows as the payout/deposit sent date (just the date, no order details), I can help you estimate the most likely arrival window and what you should see in your Etsy Payment account screen.
