I’m new to selling on Etsy and just got my first order, and the buyer left a 5-star review.
Is there any option on Etsy for sellers to leave a review or rating for a buyer, or is the feedback system one-way?
Hi! On Etsy, sellers can’t leave a review or star rating for buyers—the review system is basically one-way (buyers review sellers/items). The closest thing you can do is publicly reply to the buyer’s review (which is optional), but you still can’t “rate” the buyer or leave buyer feedback that other shops can see.
If you’re deciding whether to work with someone again, you can keep your own private notes about tricky situations, and of course you can message the buyer through Etsy Messages if you need to follow up on an order—but there’s no official seller-to-buyer review feature on Etsy.
