When will Etsy deposit my first sale earnings to my Payoneer account?

I’m a new Etsy seller and I just made my first sale. My shop is set up to receive payouts through Payoneer, but I’m not sure how long it takes for the funds to show up there.

How long do Etsy payouts usually take to reach a Payoneer account for a first sale, and is there anything I should check in my payment and payout settings to avoid delays?

Hi! For a first sale, it’s common for Etsy to not release the money for payout right away—new sellers often see funds become “available for deposit” about 14 days after the sale (sometimes longer if there’s a reserve/hold). After Etsy actually marks the payout as sent, it usually takes a little additional time to show up in your Payoneer account (often within a few business days), and if you then withdraw from Payoneer to your bank, Payoneer can take a few more business days to complete that transfer.

A couple things to check so you don’t get stuck waiting longer than necessary:

  • Shop Manager → Finances → Payment account

    • Look at Available for deposit vs. Not yet available. If it’s still “not yet available,” Etsy hasn’t released it for payout yet (so Payoneer timing won’t matter yet).
    • Check whether you have a Payment account reserve (this is common after a first sale). If you do, adding valid tracking for physical orders and shipping on time can help funds become available sooner for some orders.
  • Shop Manager → Finances → Payment settings (payouts)

    • Confirm your Payoneer account is fully set up/verified (any “verify” steps completed).
    • Make sure your deposit schedule is what you expect (daily/weekly, etc.). If it’s set to weekly, you’ll wait until the next scheduled payout day after funds become available.
    • Avoid changing payout details repeatedly—Etsy can apply a temporary hold after payout info updates, which delays deposits.

If you tell me (1) the date of your first sale and (2) what your Payment account shows right now (“not yet available,” “available,” or “deposit sent”), I can help you narrow down the most likely window for when it should hit Payoneer.
