Why are my Etsy Marketplace Insights credits not updating each week?

Hi! Etsy hasn’t (as of now) announced that the free Marketplace Insights searches were removed—but the “weekly credits” don’t always reset on a simple Monday‑to‑Sunday schedule. For many sellers, the 15 free Marketplace Insights searches refill on a rolling 7‑day basis (meaning each search you used comes back 7 days after you used it), so your balance can look “stuck” until the exact day/time your prior searches age out.

A couple things to check quickly:

• Think “rolling week,” not “new week.” Example: if you used most of your searches on May 18, 2026, you may not see them return until May 25, 2026 (and sometimes closer to the same time of day you searched).
• Make sure you’re checking in the right place: Marketplace Insights is meant for desktop / mobile web (not the Seller app), and sometimes the counter behaves oddly if you’re bouncing between devices/browsers.
• Confirm you’re logged into the right Etsy account/shop (it happens more than you’d think), since the remaining searches are tied to the account.
• Browser glitch check: try an incognito/private window, clear cache, or try a different browser—this can fix a stale counter display.

If you’ve gone more than 7 full days since your last Marketplace Insights searches and your free searches still haven’t started coming back, it’s likely a temporary bug—and at that point I’d contact Etsy Support and describe it as “Marketplace Insights remaining searches not refilling after 7+ days,” along with the approximate date you last used the tool (no need to share any private order info).
