Psychological Pricing Strategies for Etsy

I’m a newer Etsy seller trying to purchase shipping labels through Etsy for two customer orders. One label purchased normally, but for the other order Etsy shows an error that says no delivery services are available for the package.
The shipping address and my package size/weight look correct, and reopening the label screen hasn’t changed anything. What usually causes this message, and what steps should I check to get a label purchased through Etsy?
Hi! That message almost always means Etsy can’t find any carrier/service that matches the combination of to-address + package type/dimensions + weight + ship date for that specific order—so one detail is either formatted in a way the carrier won’t accept, or the package info is outside what Etsy can rate for the services it offers.
Here’s the quick checklist that fixes it most often:
1) Re-check the shipping address formatting (even if it “looks right”)
2) Double-check package details (this is the #1 cause)
3) Try a different delivery service/carrier option (if shown)
If Etsy is defaulting you into a service that can’t be used for that package (size/weight/class restrictions), switching to another USPS class (or another carrier option if you have it) often makes services appear again.
4) Check the ship date and your label settings
5) Rule out a temporary Etsy/carrier hiccup
Open the order in a different browser (or private/incognito), and try again later. If the carrier-rate connection is having a moment, it can show up as “no delivery services” for only some destinations.
If you still can’t buy the Etsy shipping label
The safe workaround is to buy the label directly from the carrier (or another label service) and then complete the order on Etsy by entering the tracking number manually. You’ll still be able to mark the order shipped and keep your tracking updated for the buyer.
If you tell me (a) domestic vs international, (b) package dimensions + weight, and (c) whether the address includes anything unusual (accent marks, very long lines, etc.), I can help you pinpoint the most likely culprit fast.
