Psychological Pricing Strategies for Etsy

I sell bookmarks, and I’m trying to ship orders in a #10 (about 9x4) business envelope. When I buy an Etsy shipping label, the layout seems to be positioned for a smaller 6x4-style label, so printing directly on the envelope comes out misaligned.
Is there a way to change the label/envelope size or adjust the placement in Etsy Labels, or do I need to print on adhesive label sheets and apply it separately for this envelope size?
Hi! Etsy Shipping Labels don’t really support “printing directly onto a #10 (9x4) envelope” with adjustable placement—the label is generated as a standard shipping-label PDF (either on 8.5"×11" paper, or sometimes 4"×6" for label printers), so it’s expected you’ll print it on paper/label stock and then tape or stick it onto the package rather than lining it up on an envelope.
A couple practical options that work well:
If you’re seeing misalignment even on paper, it’s usually your print scaling. When you print the downloaded PDF, make sure your print settings are Actual size / 100% (not “Fit to page”), and double-check the preview before printing.
One more thing to sanity-check: if you’re shipping bookmarks in a regular stamped envelope (letter mail), Etsy shipping labels usually aren’t the right tool (those labels are for carrier shipping services and are meant to be attached like a package label). If you tell me whether you’re buying a USPS letter/flat-type service or a package service through Etsy, I can point you to the cleanest setup for bookmarks.
