When will Etsy payout reach my Payoneer account after my first sale?

I’m new to selling on Etsy and I just made my first sale. My shop is set up to receive payouts through Payoneer, but I’m not sure how long it typically takes for funds to show up.

How do Etsy payouts to Payoneer work for a new shop, and what should I check if the money hasn’t arrived yet?

Hi! For a brand-new Etsy shop, it’s normal that you won’t see your first payout in Payoneer right away—Etsy usually makes funds from a new seller “eligible for deposit” about 14 days after the sale, and if you’re using Etsy Payments with Payoneer, Etsy typically only sends deposits once a week (on Mondays). So your first timeline often looks like: sale happens → ~14-day new-seller availability period → next Monday Etsy sends it → then it shows in Payoneer after processing.

A few things to check if the money hasn’t arrived yet:

  • Check your Etsy Payment account (Finances → Payment account):
Look for the order amount under something like Not yet available vs Available for deposit, and check the scheduled deposit date. If it’s still “not yet available,” Etsy hasn’t tried to send it to Payoneer yet.
  • Watch for a reserve or deposit delay:
New shops sometimes have holds/reserves that push availability out longer than you expected (separate from the normal 14-day new-seller timing).
  • Confirm your Payoneer setup is fully verified:
If Payoneer needs extra verification (or there’s any account limitation), the payout can be delayed or rejected on the Payoneer side.
  • Make sure fees aren’t eating the balance:
Etsy fees (listing, transaction, shipping label, Etsy Ads, etc.) are taken out of your Payment account balance. Sometimes a “payout” doesn’t happen simply because there isn’t enough available balance left after fees/refunds.
  • If Etsy says “deposit sent” but Payoneer is empty:
Give it a little time for Payoneer to reflect it (especially around weekends/holidays). If it’s been several business days since Etsy marked it as sent, then it’s time to check Payoneer transaction/history and contact Payoneer support with the payment details (without sharing sensitive info publicly).

If you tell me the date of your first sale and what your Etsy Payment account shows for “Funds available for deposit” and the next scheduled deposit date (no screenshots needed—just the wording), I can help you sanity-check whether you’re still in the normal new-seller window or if something else is holding it up.
