When will Etsy deposit my first sale payout to my Payoneer account?

I’m a new Etsy seller and I just made my first sale. I’m using Payoneer for my shop payouts, but I’m not sure how long it usually takes for Etsy to release the funds and for Payoneer to show the deposit.

How long should I expect the first payout to take, and is there anything I need to set up or verify to avoid delays?

Hi! For a brand-new Etsy shop, it’s normal for your first sale money to not be available for deposit right away—Etsy typically makes funds available for deposit about 14–20 days after the sale (sometimes longer depending on your shop’s standing). Since you’re using Payoneer, Etsy then sends available funds to your Payoneer Payment Account on Mondays, so in practice your first payout is often that 14–20 day hold + waiting until the next Monday for the transfer to run.

A few things can delay it (and what to do now to avoid that):

  • Make sure your Etsy Payments / seller verification is complete (identity and business details, if prompted). Any “verify” banner in Shop Manager can pause deposits until it’s done.
  • Confirm your Payoneer setup is fully connected in your Etsy Payment settings (and that your Payoneer account is active and in good standing).
  • Check your Payment account balance on Etsy: if fees, refunds, or taxes pull your balance down, you may have little or nothing “available for deposit” yet.
  • Watch for a payment account reserve: if Etsy places a reserve on the shop, some funds can be held longer. Adding valid tracking and shipping on time can help in cases where Etsy can verify the order is in transit.

If you tell me the date of the sale and what your Payment Account page shows for “Available for deposit” (just the status/date, not any private details), I can help you estimate the most likely Monday your first Payoneer payout will land.
