Did Etsy remove the $0.78 USPS letter shipping label option in the app?

Etsy hasn’t (as of now) fully removed the USPS “Letter/Flat” label option—when it disappears and you only see $4+ Ground Advantage, it’s usually because Etsy thinks your shipment doesn’t qualify as a machinable letter/flat or the Etsy app is glitching and not offering the Letter/Flat package type correctly.

• Make sure the Package type is set to “Letter” or “Flat” (not “Package”) when buying the Etsy shipping label. On desktop (Shop Manager → Orders → Get shipping labels), the Letter/Flat option is often easier to find than in the app.
• Double-check thickness and dimensions. If your thickness is over the letter limit (or you entered it that way), Etsy will only show parcel services like Ground Advantage.
  • Letter must be within the letter limits (especially thickness), and must be flexible/machinable.
  • If your item is even a bit rigid/lumpy (chipboard, magnets, keychains, layered acrylic, etc.), it may not qualify even if the envelope size looks right.
• Try the same label purchase on a computer/browser. A lot of sellers see “Letter” on desktop while the app only shows package rates, which points to an app/UI issue rather than Etsy discontinuing the service.
• Update the Etsy Seller app (or reinstall it) and try again. If it still won’t show Letter/Flat in the app but works on desktop, I’d just buy these labels on desktop for now.
