Why are my Etsy Ads getting zero views for two days?

I run Etsy Ads for my listings, and my ad performance suddenly dropped to zero. For the last two days, my ads show 0 views across all promoted listings, which doesn’t seem normal compared to my usual traffic.

Is there a known issue that can cause Etsy Ads to stop serving or reporting views, and what should I check first to confirm whether it’s a delivery problem versus a stats/reporting delay?

Hi! When Etsy Ads drop to 0 views across every promoted listing for 2 days, it’s often either (a) a stats/reporting outage/lag on Etsy’s side, or (b) your ads are technically “on” but not eligible to serve (payment/account/listing visibility issue). The fastest way to tell the difference is to check whether you’re still getting any Etsy Ads spend/charges and whether your shop is still showing up in Etsy search—if spend is happening or orders are coming in, it’s usually a reporting delay; if there’s truly no spend and your listings aren’t appearing in search, it’s more likely a delivery/eligibility problem.

Here’s what I’d check first (in this order) to separate delivery vs reporting:

1) Confirm if ads are spending at all (best “is it delivering?” signal)

  • In Shop Manager → Finances/Payment account, see if there are any Etsy Ads charges for yesterday/today.
    • Charges present but 0 views shown = most likely reporting delay/glitch.
    • No charges at all for 2 full days (and you normally spend daily) = could be not serving.

2) Look for an Etsy-side banner/message on the Ads dashboard
Sometimes Etsy shows a notice like “we’re working to fix an issue… your ads are still being shown, but stats may not be updating.” If you see anything like that, it’s almost certainly reporting, not delivery.

3) Make sure your campaign is actually promoting listings
It sounds obvious, but double-check:

  • Etsy Ads is not paused
  • Your daily budget is still set (and not accidentally set extremely low)
  • Your promoted listings are still toggled on (bulk edits, vacations, renewals, or app glitches can sometimes change what’s selected)

4) Check listing/shop visibility (rules out the scary stuff)

  • Open your listing in an incognito/private window and make sure it’s active and purchasable.
  • In Shop Manager, look for any warnings about policy, IP, or listing eligibility.
  • If you recently changed anything “big” (shop vacation mode, major editing, new payment/billing info, currency/shipping overhauls), that’s worth noting.

5) Compare against other stats

  • If your regular Etsy Stats (visits/views) are also weird/zero, that points more toward a platform reporting issue.
  • If organic stats look normal but Ads alone are 0, it can still be reporting—but it’s also when I’d start suspecting an ads eligibility/billing hiccup.

If after doing the above you see no ad spend, no ad views, and your listings seem harder to find in Etsy search, I’d contact Etsy Support and clearly say: “Etsy Ads has shown 0 views for all promoted listings for 48 hours, with no spend, please check ad delivery/eligibility on my account.” If you do see spend or normal shop activity, I’d give it a little time (24–72 hours is not unheard of for Etsy reporting weirdness) and avoid making a bunch of big campaign changes while their stats are unstable.
