Why aren’t my Etsy Marketplace Insights free credits updating each week?

Hi! Yes—Etsy is still offering free Marketplace Insights searches. For most sellers it’s up to 15 keyword searches in a week, and the tool shows how many you have left above the search bar. If your “free credits” aren’t refreshing, it’s usually because the allowance works on a rolling 7‑day window (so your searches “come back” about 7 days after you used them), not always on a simple “every Monday” type reset.

A few things to check quickly:

• Make sure you’re in the right place/version: Marketplace Insights is currently available on desktop and mobile web, not the Etsy Seller app in all cases. Try it in a desktop browser if you’ve been checking on mobile.
• Confirm which account/shop you’re signed into: If you have multiple Etsy accounts/shops, your remaining searches won’t match across them.
• Wait a full 7 days from when you used last week’s searches: If you spent some of last week’s searches on (for example) Tuesday evening, you may not see them return until the same day/time this week.
• Browser/session issues: Log out/in, try an incognito/private window, clear cache/cookies for Etsy, and temporarily disable ad blockers/other extensions (they can interfere with counters and Shop Manager tools).

If it’s been more than 7 full days since you used any Marketplace Insights searches (and you’re still stuck with the same remaining number), that’s a good sign it’s a glitch—grab a screenshot of the Marketplace Insights page showing the remaining searches and contact Etsy Support from Shop Manager so they can check your account’s refresh status.
