Why can’t I find my Etsy seller post asking about international shipping?

I’m an Etsy seller and I’m trying to figure out how to ship an international order. I posted a question earlier, but I’m not seeing it anywhere now, and I didn’t get any responses.

What are the most common reasons a seller post might not show up, and what should I check or do so I can get help with international shipping?

Hi! The most common reason an Etsy seller post “disappears” is that it never actually published (draft/failed submission), it’s still in a moderation/spam filter queue, it was auto-removed for a rule/keyword trigger, or you’re looking in a different place than where you posted (wrong board/group, different account, or you’re logged out).

Here are the usual causes and what to check:

1) You weren’t logged into the same Etsy account
If you have more than one Etsy login (or you switched between shop account/personal account), your post may be tied to the other account. Log out, log back in, and confirm you’re on the same profile that posted.

2) It posted to a different section (or as a comment, not a post)
Etsy has multiple “places” sellers ask questions (seller community/forums, team spaces/groups, sometimes help threads). Check your recent activity/notifications and any “My posts” or “Activity” area in the community to find where it landed.

3) It’s pending moderation or got caught by an auto-filter
Posts can be held back if they look like spam or include certain things (too many repeated words, lots of caps, pricing/promos, external links, email/phone, “urgent!!!”, etc.). If you included screenshots with personal info, order details, tracking numbers, or anything that looks like personal data, it may also be removed.

What to do: repost a cleaned-up version with:

  • No links
  • No personal/order details
  • A clear title like “Help: shipping an international order from the US to [country]—best carrier + customs info?”
  • Short bullet points with the key facts (item type, weight/size, destination country, shipping method you’re considering)

4) It was deleted (by you, a mod, or by the system)
Sometimes sellers accidentally delete a post while editing, or it gets removed if it violates community rules. If you can’t find it in your own activity/history, it may be gone.

5) Glitch/caching/search delay
Community search can be slow or inconsistent. Even if it posted, it may not show up in search right away. Try checking your notifications/activity rather than searching by keywords.

If your main goal is just to get your international order shipped ASAP, here’s the fastest way to ask for useful help (and what to double-check on your end):

  • Destination country + your ship-from country/state
  • Package weight + dimensions
  • What you’re shipping (general category, like “ceramic mug,” “t-shirt,” “art print”)
  • Whether you need tracking/signature/insurance
  • What carriers you can access (USPS/UPS/FedEx, etc.)
  • Whether you’re using an Etsy shipping profile / Etsy labels (if available for your location)

And quick practical checks for international shipping on Etsy:

  • Confirm your shipping profile includes the destination country and a realistic processing time and delivery estimate.
  • Be ready for customs info (contents description, value, weight, and sometimes HS/tariff code depending on how you buy postage).
  • Make sure your listing/order messaging clearly states buyer may owe duties/taxes on delivery (common reason for issues).

If you tell me what country you’re shipping from, what country it’s going to, and the package weight/dimensions, I can suggest the most straightforward shipping option and what to put on the customs description.
