How do I recover my Printify login email for my Etsy POD shop?

AAnonymous
1 answer

I run an Etsy print-on-demand shop connected to Printify, and my listings are already live. Today I can’t log into my Printify account, and I’m not sure which email address I used when I signed up because none of my usual emails seem to work.

What’s the best way to identify the correct login email and regain access to my Printify account so I can manage my Etsy orders and listings?

Hi! The fastest way to “recover” the right Printify login email is to work backwards from where Printify has already communicated with you (emails, invoices, order notifications) and from where your browser may have saved the credentials—then, if that fails, have Printify Support locate the account using your Etsy shop connection details.

Here are the best ways to identify the correct email and regain access (in order):

  1. Search all your inboxes for proof of the signup email (usually quickest)
Check every email account you might’ve used (including older Gmail/Apple IDs, business domains, and “+alias” variations), and search for:
  • “Printify”
  • “Confirm your email”
  • “Welcome to Printify”
  • “Your order is in production”
  • “subscription”, “invoice”, “payment”
  • “Etsy integration” / “connected to Etsy”

If you find any Printify message, look at the “To:” line (or the account profile footer in the email) to confirm which address received it.

  1. Use “Forgot password” strategically (without guessing forever)
On the Printify login screen, run Forgot password for each likely email address you may have used. Two tips:
  • If you have multiple Gmail addresses, also test common variants you might have used (e.g., personal vs. business, or the one tied to your Apple/Google sign-in).
  • Check spam/promotions and any filtered folders. Password reset emails often get sorted.
  1. Check saved logins in your browser/password manager
If you’ve logged in before on this device, your email is often stored even if you forgot it:
  • Chrome/Google Password Manager (or your Google account passwords)
  • Safari/iCloud Keychain (Mac/iPhone)
  • Firefox password manager
  • 1Password/LastPass/etc.

Look for entries like “Printify” and it should show the username/email used.

  1. Check whether you originally used “Continue with Google/Apple/Facebook”
If you signed up with a social login, the email might be the one attached to that provider.
  • Try logging in using the same “Continue with …” button you might’ve used originally.
  • If it works, you’ll immediately see which account/email is tied to it once you’re back in.
  1. If you have a team/partner: confirm who owns the Printify account
If anyone else helped set up your Etsy POD shop, it’s common that:
  • They created the Printify account under their email, or
  • You’re a team member, not the account owner

Ask them to check their inboxes/password managers for Printify, or to invite your preferred email as a team member once access is restored.

  1. Contact Printify Support to locate/restore the account (when the above fails)
If none of your emails are receiving the reset email, go straight to Printify Support and tell them you can’t identify the login email. To help them find the right account, provide non-sensitive identifiers like:
  • Your Etsy shop name (exact spelling)
  • The fact it’s connected to Etsy and your listings are live
  • Approximate timeframe when you created the account
  • Any recent product/order names or SKUs you recognize (no customer info)

They can usually help you identify the account and guide you through recovery without you needing to guess every email.

Quick “don’t get burned” tip while you’re locked out: keep a close eye on new Etsy orders. If you can’t access Printify to submit fulfillment, you may need to extend processing times (where possible) or temporarily pause listings so you don’t rack up late shipments.

If you tell me what devices/browsers you’ve previously logged into Printify with (phone vs laptop, Chrome vs Safari), I can tell you exactly where to look for the saved login email.
