Why can’t I set a custom date range in Etsy Shop Stats anymore?

I use Etsy Shop Stats to check traffic and orders over specific time periods, but I’m no longer seeing the option to choose a custom date range—only the preset ranges.

Did Etsy remove the custom date filter, or was it moved somewhere else in the Stats dashboard?

Hi! You’re not imagining it — for a lot of sellers right now, the custom date range option in Etsy Shop Stats isn’t showing anymore, and it doesn’t appear to be “moved” to a new spot in the Stats dashboard. It looks like Etsy has either removed it for some accounts or is testing/rolling out a Stats change where only preset ranges are available (and some sellers still see “Custom,” which usually points to an A/B test or staggered rollout).

A couple quick things to try (just in case it’s a display/UI glitch):

  • Check Shop Manager → Stats on a desktop browser (and try a second browser or an incognito/private window).
  • If you normally use the Etsy Seller app, compare app vs desktop—features don’t always match.
  • Hard refresh / clear cache for Etsy (sometimes old UI elements get stuck).

If “Custom” still isn’t there, here are the best workarounds to get “specific time period” numbers:

  • Orders: Use your Orders & Shipping page filters to view orders within the exact dates you want (great for order counts and revenue, even if it’s not “traffic”).
  • Finances: Use your Payment account / monthly statements for clean date-based totals.
  • Etsy Ads: The Etsy Ads dashboard typically still allows a custom date picker (handy if what you’re really comparing is ad-driven traffic/sales).

If you tell me whether you’re on desktop or the Seller app, and what exact metrics you’re trying to measure (visits, orders, revenue, conversion rate, etc.), I can point you to the closest equivalent view/filter so you can still track those custom periods.
